DMV/Diver License Hearing

The amount of points that can be assessed against your license before an excessive point suspension is triggered depends on your age:

1. 21 years or older: 12 points within any 12 consecutive months or 18 Points within any 24 consecutive months

2. 18-21 years old : 9 points within any 12 consecutive months or 12 points within any 24 consecutive months or 14 + points accumulated between the ages of  18-21

3. Under 18 years old: 6 points within any 12 consecutive months or 7 points prior to turning age 18

(2) a hearing, and 

(3)  the right to be represented by an attorney.
